Absolutely love these dog beds. This is the fourth one we've purchased and our four-legged friends choose these over their older ones. Love the fact that the covers are removable from the padding to wash. It's a little bit of a challenge to put the round covers back on but well worth the effort as the dogs love the support of the foam. Would highly recommend.

My Chi jumped on the soft cover as soon as I opened the package. But was diffident after I after I installed the fluff in the cover, once it inflated for two days. I thought the finished product might be too small to hold her, since the fluff reduces the cover dimensions significantly. My dog is a 12 pound deerhead Chihuahua, 18 inches long neck to rump. However, after leaving the bed sitting around a few days, she started nestling inside. She can't burrow in this size, like she does in her "eyelash" donut bed. But she is well supported and seems to like it. If you have a larger dog, maybe consider going up one size on this bed. I do like that the insides of this one can be completely removed and the cover washed. While the eyelash beds can be washed, it's not enough to remove the crumbs in the seams, and washing/drying mats the eyelashes quickly. (Though my dog still loves that bed too.)
