Bubble Fleece Dog Bed

This bed arrives all shrunken as most of them do, and I recommend letting it sit out for a day to fluff up before use. The difference is substantial. We are home to two dachshund brothers and despite having gotten them each their own bed at one point, they always prefer to be together, probably so they can fight over two of the same exact toy. So, when we get dog beds, we get ones that can accommodate our two dogs that are 11 and 15 pounds. This bed is more than large enough to fit those two, and the thickness of the bed allows them to enjoy being up a bit higher off the ground. They are so short on their own, I think they like the different perspective. The covering of the bed is plush and soft as well as visually appealing with the large hatch pattern, and of course it is ultimately important that the bed be machine washable. While the cover and the filling are one piece and the instructions indicates to use the front-loading washers, I took a chance and washed it in my HE washer with no agitator and it came through the wash the same as it went in. I am very pleased not to have to take it to a specific laundromat, but individual results may vary. The interior feels the appropriate amount of supportive for these little guys, and the walls of the bed are sturdy enough to hold up on their own for them to cuddle against. Sometimes they turn it upside down and make a cave, it works that way too! I find the non-slip bottom to be similar to other beds we have used; works well on…

The small size is perfect for chihuahuas and the minute she laid eyes on it - Delilah jumped right in and immediately claimed it as her own. She loves it both awake and asleep. She now insists on taking it with her wherever she goes - indoors or out. If that’s not enough it’s fully machine washable - but only when I can coerce her out of her favorite bed.
