5 stars for sizes up to 2X women, otherwise abdome

The media could not be loaded. This wearable heating pad arrived just in time for our cold mid-west winter. It is soft, comfortable and feels heavenly. It quickly heats up to maximum temperature in a couple minutes. The temperature range can be set in 10 degree increments from 100-150 degrees. I only put it on 150 when I'm freezing but prefer it much lower. The timer can be set from 1-4 hours. The simple remote control features large buttons and an easy to read digital display that lights up when you press a button. It heats my entire back, neck, shoulders and midriff. The only drawback to the heating pad is the width of the abdomen belt, which is also heated. It will go around my waist easily but will not fit around my abdomen, in the area where it would help with cramps. I included a picture of me sitting with it on for comparison. (5'4", 2X, 215 lbs) Still, the variable heat soothes my pain, warms my bones and is comforting. I think it a fair value for the price if you are a female sized 2X or smaller, even up to 3X if you have small waist and abdomen. If you are more curvy, the abdomen belt will not close, so you'd have to wear it open. I like that the remote control and power cord can be removed from it for machine washing on gentle (line dry). And the snaps, seams and cords seem durable. So, the pros far outweigh the only drawback, which is it's not for very full figures. It comes boxed, making it easy to gift. This would be a fantastic gift of comfort for someone…

    Worth every penny....

I suffer from a lot of painful areas... my back, neck, shoulder, hip, and knee... And while this particular heating pad doesn't target the hip or the knee, it covers everything else. No more sitting for hours moving the heating pad from one place to another. Now I can target so many areas at once, it is super efficient. And this thing is so cozy, it is like being curled up in flannel sheets in the winter by the fire, but even cozier. If I had one wish it would be that the waist belt were just a bit bigger for us heavier folks, but I can make it work, it's just a bit snug. Otherwise, I am thrilled with this item.. It comes with a control to set both time and temperature, and even lets you select a mode which is for extended periods, where it won't heat up too much, so you can wear it longer without risk of overheating. Just plug it in, pick your settings, and sit back and relax. Definitely recommend.

Not Great If You Aren't Skinny

As other bedsure products I've had have been, this is very soft. The instructions say it is washable if you unplug it which is nice if you need to. The pink is a nice warm shade. The temperature controls seem intuitive and it is designed to cover back, neck, and shoulders. We just had our first huge snowstorm and a nice warm electronic hug was definitely sounding good. However, this has one big flaw. Because it has a waist belt element is is NOT one size fits all. I'm not huge but I'm not skinny either and this would barely close at the very edge of the velcro (and immediately came apart if I moved even a tiny bit). If you are skinny/have a small waist, this is a great addition to winter. If you are chubby, I'd look into different heating pad options that don't have the waist option because, while still usable without the waist part closed, it isn't comfortable.
