Organic Cotton Waffle Herringbone Blanket

I have a queen bed and I decided to get a king size so that I can use it as a comforter/blanket. It is such good quality, very thick and soft. I paid $87 for it and it was worth every penny given that it is GOTS certified organic cotton. I am trying to live a non toxic lifestyle and the comforters & duvets that I want are so expensive so getting this blanket is definitely a good start! Would totally buy again!!

I will be the first to admit that I am an absolute blanket and pillow hoarder/connoisseur. I’m constantly searching for the best sheets, blankets, comforters, and pillows, and I’m definitely a little bougie when it comes to bedding. My everyday sleep setup easily totals well over $1,300-$1,400, with most individual pieces costing a couple hundred dollars or more, so when I say I have high standards for bedding, I mean it. With that said, let’s get into whether this blanket disappointed me or not. Right out of the package, I could immediately tell this blanket was well made. The weight alone gave it away, along with how tightly woven the fabric is. I got the sage green color, and it’s honestly beautiful — a soft, light green that would fit perfectly into a boho, earthy, or even slightly vintage/70s-style room aesthetic. I ordered the king size for my queen bed, so this thing is HUGE. It drapes nicely over the sides, and because it’s 100% cotton with a heavier 400gsm weight, it definitely has some substance to it. Honestly, it’s almost a little too heavy on my bed, but that’s completely on me for sizing up lol. One thing I really appreciate is how durable the weave feels. I have long stiletto nails — basically cat claws — and normally knitted or woven blankets are instantly fighting for their lives around me. This is a really beautiful, high-quality blanket. The weave is gorgeous! One of the biggest reasons I chose this one is the GOTS organic certification , which is a huge plus for me—it’s really great to find something that’s genuinely certified organic cotton and made with that level of transparency. It is fairly thin and lightweight, which makes it nice for layering or year-round use. It did feel a bit stiff out of the package, but it’s described as softening over time, so I think it will get broken in by use and washing. As for durability, it feels like a well-constructed piece with a tight weave, so I’m expecting it to hold up well over time. Overall really happy with it and would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a thoughtfully made, organic cotton blanket that’s breathable, versatile, and looks great on the bed!
