Cooling Dog Mat

1. I have 2-95# male labs and 1 75# female lab and my boys do just fine on the 28x39 size as does she. 2. One of my boys is not really a fan although he will lie on it at night in bed. (I have a king size and both my boys sleep in the bed with me, my 75# female does not). I lay one on the floor where my female sleeps at all times but the other 2 mats I move from living room to my bed and vice versa morning and night. My black boy loves it and sleeps on it all night, my yellow not so much. Obviously my black one gets really hot after he lays out on deck and I think he knows it helps. These things are honestly 5-9⁰ cooler than our skin, it's truly amazing plus no gel, DO NOT BUY GEL YOU DONT NEED IT and can harm your dog if they ingest it plus it takes a while to cool off once they've warmed it up. I went around to several pet stores looking for one of these because on new things I get leary on the net. Honestly, pet stores had zip zilch nada but I asked an elderly cashier on a whim and she told me try Tractor Supply and while they did not have a "mat" they did have a little dog bed that the outside of it was made of. 1 touch (ok, like 3-4) and i was out the door and home to order. The 3 things about these particular beds: 1. The stitching pattern helps to prevent the inner "cushion" as it were from bunching up. Some others have none or side to side channels, keep that in mind so it doesnt wad up from washing. 2. The little rubber dots help some as well, not full fledged stick…

We travel in a camper van with our dog. It’s not always as cool in the back where he sleeps during our drives (5,000 miles in 19 days!). This lightweight mat is perfect for him. It always feels cool and he goes right to it for comfort.
