The material on this is so soft my cat has been using it as a bed. I’d imagine a dog would love it too. It feels amazing. And it traps dirt like no other mat I’ve owned. It works well as an indoor door mat. I can very easily shake or vacuum the dirt out to clean it. You’ll want your vacuum on a higher carpet setting, as it has a pretty deep pile. There are no worries about the dirt making its way back out. The color is a lovely, soft gray and looks nice with any decor. It’s much larger than I was expecting, so it spans the entire doorway and stretches out far enough that you can comfortably walk in and shut the door while staying on the rug. It’s absolutely worth the money in terms of quality and functionality. This is a really great rug.
