We have three dogs. I think I can safely add “mud mitigation specialist” to my resume. They run outside and bring lots of mud inside with them. Having a thick but machine washable throw rug at our back door is essential to keeping our house clean. This rug is not only pretty and SO soft, it is thick and thirsty. It traps the moisture and dirt that comes in on their paws (and our shoes) and keeps it from making the kitchen a muddy mess. This rug washes easily in the washing machine. I was able to dry it most of the way in the dryer on the low heat setting but I had to leave it out in the sun to get completely dry. I think that’s because it’s so thick. The latex backing on this rug keeps it firmly in place and I never need to move it or reposition it. The latex backing did not dry out after washing and still had the exact same amount of tack to it. I may order another one so I always have a clean run ready to go.

I ordered this mat for my dogs as they come I. The house, they live being outside in the fenced yard and playing and barking at the wildlife. It fits perfectly at my stairway landing and matches my decor perfectly. The feel of these mat is amazing and soft. It is super absorbent and the nonslip rubber backing is a true no slip backing. For the price this comes in at, it is just an all around great deal.
