This cooling blanket is oh, so soft and feels refreshingly cool against the skin. One side is silky and the other side is textured to keep it from sliding off the bed. I prefer having the silky side towards my body because it feels cooler and is smooth. The blanket is lightweight but has enough weight to it that I feel cozy. I'm a very hot sleeper and it does help me to get better sleep quality because I stay cooler at night. I got the twin XL size even though I have a California king bed because I only put the cooling blanket on my side of the bed. The only reason for the four-star review is because I'm not a fan for how the textured side feels against the skin. But it does really work. It comes in a nice box would make a great gift for a hot sleeper.

I'm a hot sleeper and sometimes I have to go to the guest room where it is cooler (as my wife likes a warmer room than I do. ) This was the perfect solution. Not only can I keep the guest room cooler, I don't get heat build up like some blankets. This has a soothing cool to the touch feel, and it stays that way.
