When we unpacked this comforter and put it on our bed, we were immediately worried. I was ready to come, leave a bad review, and return it because it barely covered the top of our bed. We thought it was way smaller than advertised (king size). We even grabbed our tape measure and measured it, finding it to be a full 10+" shorter than it should be. Well, we then took it off the bed and pulled it a little bit to make sure it wasn't just folded weird or something. The comforter 'stretched' out to its appropriate length without any trouble! It must be that it gets so compressed from being packaged up in an air tight bag that it needs a bit to expand all the way out. Kind of weird, but whatever. Now that we got past that, we are very happy with it. The color is very vivid, which is what we wanted. The trees, snowflakes, hearts, and other patterns are all crisp and easy to see. It isn't the heaviest weight blanket I've ever used, but it certainly kept us warm (and we like to sleep with the thermostat set to around 64), so no complaints there. Overall, we are quite happy with the purchase, and we are glad that we took the time to get the blanket fully stretched out and to its proper size. The sham covers are also nice, exactly what you would expect. No complaints.
