Why isn’t the blanket fluffy when I first open the package?

Best blanket ever!
I love this blanket. I ordered a king size to use as a bedspread on my queen size bed. I ordered the burgundy red. It is beautiful. It's almost to the floor on both sides of the bed and my bed is quite high. It's so beautiful that I ordered one for my boyfriend and my daughter. It's the softest blanket you will ever own. It's a great price. It's quite thin when you get it and it'll come in a tiny box that you will wonder how is possible. But it's warm even though it's thin and I'll tell you the softness and the look of it is amazing.

A little on the thin side but love this blanket!!
For the price point.. this is a great blanket!! Very soft!! Not the thickest blanket ever but used in layering on bed.. it’s perfect for me. I immediately washed gentle cycle and tumble dry on low. I’m so pleased with it!
