Down Alternative Comforter

I was looking for an extra comforter for guests to use in case they need one for cooler fall nights. Although this item is technically a duvet insert, it seemed to fit my search for the extra layer of warmth better than the alternatives. The comforter was quickly delivered and I was pleasantly surprised at its attractiveness and quality. It came vacuumed packaged, but was a cinch to unpack and unroll. I simply threw it in the dryer on air dry mode and presto! it came out fluffy and ready to use. Never mind the creases on the comforter itself—it looks natural and rather casual. The seams are well-sewn and as well as the square quilted sections, which seem to be doing their job holding the batting in place. The color (grey) is slightly lighter than I expected, but is of no matter considering the over-all quality of the comforter and reason for the purchase. I’m really enjoying the comforter and decided to use it in my own bedroom. It is quite an added attraction to my bedroom sanctuary. PS: I quickly ordered an additional one for my original guest purposes.

The media could not be loaded. What I used it for: I used this queen-size duvet insert with a duvet cover for everyday sleeping. The 88 x 88-inch size gives my queen bed good coverage, and the white colour has a clean look that works well with different duvet covers. Pros: • It’s soft, comfortable, and lightweight without feeling bulky. • The eight tabs help keep it from shifting inside the duvet cover. Minor con: • It might feel a little too light for anyone who prefers a thick, extra-warm comforter. Bottom line: Overall, I’m happy with this duvet insert. The quilted design helps keep the filling spread out instead of bunching up, and the down-alternative filling is a nice option for anyone who prefers not to use real down. It works well for everyday use, a guest room, or a warmer bedroom. I’d choose something thicker for very cold weather, but this is a comfortable and practical option for moderate warmth.

Hot sleeper approved! My boyfriend and I are hot sleepers and were looking for a comforter that would keep us cool all year round. We finally found the perfect comforter! Comforter is lightweight, super soft and breathable. I bought a Queen size for our Queen sized bed. It does run on the smaller size width wise however, I would still buy it again! It does not look oversized like the picture depicts. I suggest sizing up for that look. The color is perfect and looks great as is. Can also be used under a duvet cover as it has multiple attachments on the corners and sides. The material itself is so cozy and soft. It is also super easy to clean and wash as needed. For the price, you cannot go wrong! Overall, I highly recommend this comforter!
