We have a very busy household with lots of things changes/moving/shifting every day. So, to offer our cat some stability, we have designated a spot in every room for our cat to call his, and these little blankets are a great way to mark those spots. As soon as we put one out, our cat knows that's a safe place for him to sleep undisturbed. They're big enough for him to spread out on which is nice (he's a 16-pounder with a very long stretch), but I'm not sure that they would be big enough for large dogs (our Bernese would never fit on it), so be sure to order the right size for your pet. We like the colors and the wavy pattern in the fabric is visually appealing. The material is extremely soft and appears to be of decent quality. It's a little thin, so I'm not sure how long it will last, but our initial impression is good.
