This blanket is not what I was expecting. I was thinking it would be more like the old fashioned basket weave style with a bit more weight to it. NOT! This looks like something that would go to the foot of a bed like what you see in fancy hotels. I think I may just use it layering as it fits over my thin comforter very well. With that in mind, I do like it, I just wont be expecting to snuggle under a mid-weight blanket. This is perfect for warmer temperatures or climates where the lows may only dip to 60. If you are looking for a blanket with mid thickness, this is not be the one. The pattern is stylish and the width is ample on both sides. It gives that vibe that you are fancy or you really like your bed to look presentable, which I do! I ordered the Grey in queen. Take a look at the pictures. The only reason that I only gave 4 stars is, I dont believe this perticular blanket should cost more than $30 due to the thin fabric. It handle washing/drying well and did not fade. The blanket is relatively soft. I doubt there will be much shedding or piling however, your nails or other sharp items could very well get snagged. I would wash it separately. I would recommend and purchased again. I have many of items by this brand and everything has held up nicely. Perhaps I will get a better deal as the holidays near.
