Faux Fur Throw Blanket

This faux fur blanket is warm and very soft. The throw is enough to cover most of an adult, and it covers much of a king sized bed. This is definitely a winter blanket because it’s thick and fuzzy. It provides a great deal of warmth due to the thickness of the fur and is an overall great value!

Oh my goodness, this blanket is WONDERFUL! I don't think I'll ever want to use another ordinary fleece throw after experiencing this one. It is quite possibly the softest, warmest and most luxurious throw I've ever owned! The faux rabbit fur is incredibly soft and plush, and the wave pattern gives it a beautiful, expensive-looking texture. The other side is soft fleece, so there's really no uncomfortable side to this blanket. It feels wonderful against your skin no matter how you wrap yourself up in it. One thing that surprised me was the WEIGHT. This is a substantially heavier throw than an ordinary fleece blanket of the same size. It's thick, plush and has a wonderful substantial feel when you pull it over yourself. I have a friend whose daughter loves weighted blankets, and I immediately thought she would enjoy this because of how much heavier it feels than a typical throw. It's not an actual weighted blanket, but it definitely has some of that comforting, snuggled-in feeling. If you prefer a very lightweight throw that you barely notice over your legs, this might not be the best choice for you. But if you like feeling wrapped up, warm and cushioned, you're going to LOVE it! The 50 x 60-inch size is also very nice for using on the couch or in a recliner. My biggest disappointment with this blanket is that I didn't get a bigger size. This is one of those touch me soft blankets that your family will fight over. It's far too comfortable to just look pretty on your bed. I end up wearing it "fur" side against my skin because it just a sensory yes! The opposite side is soft but the "fur" side is just the best. I'll wash it on cold gentle and hang dry or air dry. The tag says it can be dried on low. I had another blanket from a different company that had a similar feel melt the tips just enough to change the feel but not visible change the blanket. So, I don't risk it will the good blankets anymore.
