HeatX™ Heated Blanket

This Bedsure HeatX heated blanket has been a cozy addition to our sofa for snuggling, and I look forward to using it in our primary bedroom on cold nights. The 90"x100" king-size covers our entire queen-sized bed with room to spare, which eliminates a potential tug-of-blanket war. The fluffy white fleece with sherpa backing drapes nicely over the edges of our bed. The standout feature for us is the dual-control system, which is great since my husband prefers a much warmer side than I do. The blanket heats up quickly and evenly, and I really appreciate the built-in programmed preheat function that warms it up before we get under it. The connectors are easy to plug in and unplug. The stitchless surface does a great job hiding the feel of the internal wires, and features like the default 8-hour auto shut-off, certifications, and customizable heat and timer settings add to the value. A few details to keep in mind before setting it up. It comes compressed. I didn't detect any scent, but I always prefer to air out a vacuum-sealed product after opening it. You will also need to plan out your bedroom outlets, as it requires plugging in two separate power cords on opposite sides of the bed. Although the total cord length is 16 feet, the controllers are positioned about 6 feet from the wall plugs rather than closer to the blanket connectors, which I find inconvenient. Electric blankets always seem to run small, so I decided to get a King size for my Queen bed, and it fits perfectly. You do not have to worry about a partner leaving you freezing in the middle of the night. It requires two separate wall outlets because it features a dual zone control system. If you prefer sleeping warmer than whoever you are sharing the bed with, this setup has you covered literally. I plan to bring this out when the weather gets super frosty, layering it right over my regular comforter. The preheat function and even heating work exceptionally well. If you are looking for a reliable heated blanket, this one is awesome. Just remember to size up for the best experience.

I saw this and requested it right away after my one cat decided to make biscuits on my other one, and clawed the wires. Now I have a suitable replacement. The feature that attracted me most was the size and the 4 layer structure, to prevent a repeat situation. This blanket came boxed and wrapped well so it would not open in transit (pic 1). Inside the blanket was vacuum packed for space and all the accompanying items of control with wires and instruction/card were inside (pic 2 and 3). There is a small label on the outside of the smooth side and right on the opposite side when flipped, is where the plug inserts (pic 4). The manual tells you all the voltage, material composition, and cleaning care and I prefer that over a stupid tag I'm going to cut off anyway (pic 5). The connector itself is simple to tell how it gets inserted, by matching the side with the raised arrows to together (pic 6). After using this for a nap yesterday and helping with some muscle pain last night, I love it. The 6 heat levels, the auto shut off timer, the pre-warming, and the texture, are all fabulous. I would definitely recommend this over the traditional throw heated blankets that don't even cover your feet. 10/10 for coziness and all features matching the description. I think it is worth the price listed for getting the exact match to the pictures posted.
