Waterproof Mattress Topper

We've got a cute quilt, the pillows, the headboard and the whole Georgetown-meets-Ralph-Lauren dorm situation. But underneath all that pretty? THIS GUY!! You can't see this mattress topper in the finished room. Not even a little bit. But trust me, it is under there doing VERY important work. Because have you ever actually touched a dorm mattress?! We put this Twin XL topper on, made the bed over it, and suddenly that sad little institutional mattress felt soft, cushy and legitimately comfortable. It adds a really nice layer of padding without making the bed feel ridiculously bulky. And once the sheets and bedding are on, it completely disappears. We can make their dorm rooms adorable all day long, but if the kid can't actually SLEEP in the bed, we've missed the assignment. But every single night when she crawls into that cozy bed? She knows it's there. Pretty dorm on top. Secret cloud underneath.

Pretty pleased with this.. it's been on my bed about an hr or so and puffed up pretty good. Deep pockets, i like how it has the thick elastic band around the ends, between that and the deep pockets it stays snug on the bed..Only thing I didn't like was upon opening from the plastic I smelled it (yes I'm that person lol) but idk if it's from being in the plastic or w.e is in it but I smelled a slight vinegary smell. But I let it puff up air out and spray some refreeze fabric gain smelled on it and it's fine now.. the only reason I gave it 4 stars was that smell when I opened. Other then that happy with the purchase
