I LOVE this beach towel! This is an ACTUAL towel and not a sandwich covering kinda towel if you know what I mean. This seems to be made with quality material, ans has already lasted several washes through the washer and through several dog baths and a few camping trips too without a fry or snag or anything yet! It is super soft and I love how it is not scratchy like most beautiful towels are! You could definitely use this as like a bath sheet or oversized towel however you want to say! I love that with as much as we have been in the sun and washed it already, the color really has not faded yet at all! I love this towel!

This is a great oversized towel, although I think calling it a beach towel might be stretching it. It's larger than a normal bath towel, but its smaller than most beach towels I've ever used. OK, one side is absorbent terry cloth, and the other side is a velvety cotton which is not quite as absorbent as the terry cloth side, BUT is still cotton. The colors are bright primary (and one secondary--green) colors. The white is a bright white. It has a watercolor brush stamped along the side, below the splashes of color, and, curiously, the word 'watercolor' also stamped above the brush. I guess they thought we wouldn't be able to figure out that these were supposed to be watercolor tins, which I wouldn't have been able to determine EXCEPT for the watercolor brush, which looks as though it has been dipped in red. I laundered it before I used it. It didn't tighten up the weave, but the dryer made the towel a little softer, the way dryers will do, so if you like a coarse terry cloth, hang it on the line (which I will do next time). This could be a fun beach towel for a child or a smaller adult. It would be great to take to the pool. Or you can just use it when you take a bath (which is how I will be using it).
