Beauty Sleep Pillowcases

These are really nice pillowcases. I usually sleep on a silk pillowcase, so I wasn't sure if these could really compare. These Bedsure pillowcases are a nice thickness. They are made of 82% Nylon, 18% Spandex, so they are a bit stretchy, which is nice. I have standard sized pillows, so I got that and they fit just right. The stretch in the fabric is nice when you put your head on the pillow and lie down. I'm not 100% sure about these being cooling, as it hasn't been really hot where I live yet. But that will be happening soon, and it stays hot for months, so I'll know if these are cooling or not and update! To wash these, I just turn them inside out and zip it halfway-ish shut so I can open the zipper and turn it right side out again. These can also be put in the dryer on low, or just hang dry. These cases come in a nice giftable box if you need a nice gift.

I deal with a zillion pillows to handle the fallout from injuries and age. Hot flashes come with all of this, so the prospect of pillow cases claimed to help one stay cool was attractive, if a little optimistic-sounding. These pillow cases seem to deliver reasonably well. The fabric is very smooth and satiny. Even though they are synthetic, they do actually feel cool, which was a pleasant surprise. I was also pleasantly surprised that the slipperiness of the fabric caught my hair much less than my usual, cotton pillow cases. The pillows come in a fancy box (Pics 1-4), unlike most sheets and pillow cases, which seem to come in a zip-up plastic baggie (always seems that it ought to be useful, but isn't). The packaging is nice enough that I suppose that they may be appropriate for something like a wedding present. I got the king-sized ones, since I wanted to accommodate my largest pillows, and I had no problems with fit. A "standard" pillow in these king cases leaves a fair bit of slack at the end, but the zip closure at least makes them securely closed, and makes them seem to flap around a little less than one might expect (Pic 5). With a "king" pillow I got an excellent fit, without the pillow seeming to be too tight in the case. All told, I think that these cases may be worth a try, particularly if you're prone to night sweats. They're pretty expensive for a pair of pillow cases (fairly recently, I got a ten pack of cotton cases for not much more), but these pillow cases…

I ordered the Queen Size Cooling Pillowcases in Pink, and when they arrived, I honestly thought they were silk. They are ultra-soft, silky smooth, and have a shine just like silk. I ordered the Queen Size to fit 2 queen size crescent-shaped pillows, and also to use with 2 queen size cooling pillows which are 5" thick. In my first 3 photos, I have the pillowcases on these pillows, and they fit perfectly. (Although while using on the crescent-shaped pillows, there's a little extra fabric which I don't even notice while sleeping) These cooling pillowcases are a gorgeous shade of Pink which really looks like a champagne pink imo. I usually don't like zippers on my pillowcases, but these zippers are hidden so well that I never even feel the zipper or pulls. I really love that these are infused with 3% HA and Ceramides. I can definitely feel the moisturizing effects on my hair and skin in the morning. These pillowcases arrived in a very giftable box which even includes a card you can write on if you're giving these as a present. As a hot side sleeper, I definitely recommend for yourself or someone special. These cooling pillowcases are the absolute best I've tried so far for cooling while making my hair and skin feel great.
