This item is nice. I haven't washed it yet, so I can't comment on that yet. when handling it, it makes a "canvas" like sound which I think will subside once laundered.

This comforter is big! Its great. Saving our marriage. She can steal cover all night and I still have some in the morning. LOL. It is heavier than expected and definitely keeps you warm. Did I mention how big this thing is? It seems like it is made of quality materials. I think this will hold up for a long time.
