This throw blanket is so unbelievable soft and cozy, I find it hard to not fall asleep in my chair whenever I am cuddled up under it. It is not heavy and not too light, as Goldilocks would say, it's just right. The size is not so long that it drags on the floor. I can tuck in the sides around me and no drafts get in. The blanket is very well made, perfect stitching, no loose threads. The checkerboard pattern is attractive. I am almost looking forward to the next time I come down with a cold so I can camp out on the sofa with my cozy, warm blanket. It's a definite plus that it's machine washable and dry on low.
