This duvet cover in Desert Sage is exactly what I wanted. It isn’t crisp, if that’s what you’re looking for. It’s more country soft and cozy. I wanted to wash it before putting it on my bed and I was worried about wrinkling because it’s definitely all cotton, no blend of poly to make it truly wrinkle free, and I no longer iron anything. So I added to the dryer three of those re-usable woolen laundry balls that we have for drying our down jackets to keep them fluffy, and I removed the cover from the dryer the minute it stopped, and spread it out smooth right away. The little dry sheets might have worked even better but I don’t have them.. I’m very happy with how it looks and feels. No wrinkles. I also like that it’s square, so it fits my 86” x 86” duvet without any annoying, flapping overhang. The zipper is hidden, works perfectly, and we can’t feel that it’s there. I will say that if you want a crisp look you might look for a cotton-poly blend, which is cooler to the touch but would sleep too warm for me.
