Faux Wool Area Rug

This is a fairly nice rug! I love the woven nature to it. The colors are distinct and vibrant. It blends really well with different colors around it. I like that it's not the typical washable rug material, where the pattern is just printed on it. There are actual different colors, woven together. It's fairly soft, especially for the wool like rug effect that it is going for. I have certainly had softer rugs. But this one isn't exactly scratchy either. It does takes a long time for it to lay flat. Some of the packaging wrinkles still haven't laid out yet. We gave up waiting, and just put the furniture on. It does slide around a little bit. It comes with four pads to stick it to the floor at the corners. But the rug is so big that those little stickers wouldn't work very well. We would have to keep moving them to get the tension right. It says it is washable. But it will have to be done so in an industrial size machine. Take it to the laundromat. This will not fit in a home washing machine. So that is a bummer. There is not much thickness to it at all. It is very, very thin. That is part of being washable I guess. So it doesn't add much padding to the floor. But every little bit helps when you have hard, solid floors like us. For the size, it is certainly cheaper than it would be to buy one at Tumble or Ruggable.
