The media could not be loaded. This is made from very soft, fluffy material that feels nice on its own, but feels extra luxurious with the heat coming from it. I'm always the Vine reviewer saying I wish a heating pad was hotter, so I do wish this one was as well, because I think more heat would help to melt away back pain easier, but at least this does get plenty toasty. Its highest setting feels a little hotter than the highest setting on my electric blanket, but of course that blanket is not a heating pad. I'm generally not one who needs my neck heated, so I wish I could detach the neck part. I do need my shoulders and back heated, and my backaches need strong heat to go away. I have not had a backache yet, so I can't say if the back part is hot enough to get rid of a backache, but I do love how warm it has felt just for wearing around a cold house. There is no internal battery, so you must stay somewhat close to an outlet, but this gives you enough length to walk around some.

Don’t get me wrong, I took an hour break before bed, so my wife could try it 😂 and then ai wore that Cape of SWEET Relief to bed…like a 5 yo. Set it to 110F for 5 hrs and I SLEPT! I, me, Mr. “I can do anything with MS” woke up with no pain in my neck or full back and only stiffness from tight hamstrings. So yes, the answer is YES.
