ReflexHeat Adjustable Heating Mat

Because sometimes you can’t have a cat on your lap! This is a great bed. I got the large and it has more than enough room for two cats. The fabric snags a little bit, but than could be prevented by putting a sheet over it. The pad cover is easily removed for washing. The bone-shaped controller is cute and has three heat settings and a few timer settings. I used it for a convalescing parrot; now it has been turned over to the cats (and my son). My cat is snoring on the heating bed as I wrote this. I’m going to use it myself when the weather gets cold. Great purchase, and it definitely frees up my lap!

This is a great heating pad, perfect size for placing on a chair or ottoman. I LOVE that it lasts 24 hours compared to the 8 hours that a heating blanket with stay on. Our house gets chilly from fall to spring and this is the cats favorite spot on those days. He gets really cranky when he's not warm. Size and color are as described and it has been safe and reliable so far.

This is a very cool, mildly heated pet mat, and in person it features subtle geometric quilted patterns across the top that I couldn't really make out in the listing pictures, but they look great up close. One of my absolute favorite things about the design is the ultra-low pile fabric. We previously owned another heated cat bed with a shaggier, high-pile cover, and it became an absolute nightmare: it trapped dirt, matted down, and was so impossible to truly clean or vacuum out that we ended up just chucking it in the trash after a single season. Provided the heating element and thermostat hold up through the winter, this flat, tightly stitched geometric surface is going to be vastly easier to wipe down, wash, and keep from turning into a massive magnet for stuck cat fur. The heat output itself is mild and gentle, just enough warmth to keep an animal cozy without roasting them. My biggest issue..and it’s a valid concern several other reviewers have pointed out is the power cord. It’s just standard, bare electrical wire with zero protective armoring. Anytime you manufacture a heated pet bed that plugs straight into a wall outlet and draws constant power, you really should include a chew-proof steel-wrapped or heavily reinforced cable to prevent curious teeth from causing an electrical disaster. I’m just going to wrap the cord myself with heavy-duty split wire tubing and electrical tape to keep our pets safe, so we'll be totally fine. It’s a very solid, well-designed warming…
