Ruffled Cotton-Like Gingham Duvet Cover Set

Super cute dusty pink/light dusty rose gingham duvet cover. It is so soft and seems to be wrinkle resistant. The pink shade matches the listing images pretty perfectly. The dusty pink shade is super cute but impossible to capture color on camera. In photos it appears a light brown. But i can assure you it is not. It is somewhere between a dusty pink and light dusty rose. In my second photo i have circled 2 color shades that the gingham pinks look most like in person since my camera is not showing the true color. I hope this helps! 😊

I have been looking for a cover for my twin down comforter, and this one turned out to be just what I wanted. The fabric is substantial enough to feel durable and well-made, rather than thin or flimsy. It washed up fine. I accidentally had the dryer temp on high and it did not impact the size of the cover. The two-tone brown and white gingham checks are cheerful and attractive, with a classic country look that will coordinate easily with other bedding and bedroom decor. The cover has a zipper running across one end, through which the comforter is inserted. A fabric flap neatly conceals the zipper, so it is practically invisible once the cover is in place. I did find getting the comforter inside to be a bit of a wrestling match, but I attribute that more to my very heavy, fluffy down comforter than to any problem with the cover itself. Once I managed to get everything situated, the comforter stayed nicely in place without shifting around. The ruffled edging is a particularly nice touch. The ruffle is just the right size, not so large that it looks overly fussy and not so small that it seems out of proportion. It adds a little softness and vintage charm without overwhelming the gingham pattern. The overall effect is a cheerful, comfortable country farmhouse style that manages to look both casual and put-together. I’m very pleased with the quality, appearance, and fit of this duvet cover. It’s exactly the look I was hoping to achieve.

This is a lightweight cover so it will work both in the summer and in the winter, depending on the duvet/comforter that you put it in—it can be warm in the winter and cool win the summer. It is super soft after one wash and will get softer with subsequent washings. It is nicer looking than I imagined. It is well made with no loose threads, I particularly like the covered zipper that hides under the bottom ruffle. My only complains are that it does have a somewhat synthetic feel to the fabric, for this price I'd like to get a higher cotton content, and, I wish it had sewn in ribbons to help insert the duvet and hold it in place. So, an fair value for the price. Oh, and you'll see from the picture that it is snuggle-worthy.
