ReflexHeat Adjustable Heating Mat

This is a very cool, mildly heated pet mat, and in person it features subtle geometric quilted patterns across the top that I couldn't really make out in the listing pictures, but they look great up close. One of my absolute favorite things about the design is the ultra-low pile fabric. We previously owned another heated cat bed with a shaggier, high-pile cover, and it became an absolute nightmare: it trapped dirt, matted down, and was so impossible to truly clean or vacuum out that we ended up just chucking it in the trash after a single season. Provided the heating element and thermostat hold up through the winter, this flat, tightly stitched geometric surface is going to be vastly easier to wipe down, wash, and keep from turning into a massive magnet for stuck cat fur. The heat output itself is mild and gentle, just enough warmth to keep an animal cozy without roasting them. My biggest issue..and it’s a valid concern several other reviewers have pointed out is the power cord. It’s just standard, bare electrical wire with zero protective armoring. Anytime you manufacture a heated pet bed that plugs straight into a wall outlet and draws constant power, you really should include a chew-proof steel-wrapped or heavily reinforced cable to prevent curious teeth from causing an electrical disaster. I’m just going to wrap the cord myself with heavy-duty split wire tubing and electrical tape to keep our pets safe, so we'll be totally fine. It’s a very solid, well-designed warming…

My cats love it! I got the biggest size thinking that they could cuddle and share it. It’s a well made pad for the fur babies with even heating and a long cord. There is also a controller along the cord that allows you to control the heat setting and set a timer. I also like that the outer layer is removable and washable because with the way they’re already using it, it’ll need a wash regularly! I keep it at L4 heat on the 4 or 8 hour timer no problem. Once the weather cools down a bit more I’ll raise the heat a little to accommodate. Other than that, I truly don’t have any complaints about the product, if there are any with further use, I’ll update this review. Here’s a photo of my cats using the bed, turns out they don’t cuddle on it and they don’t like sharing it lol (they’re brawling/play fighting in the photo but we can pretend they’re cuddling).

I have a couple of cats that usually like to lounge around my bed during the day and roam around the house during the night with no real place on the floor to lay that's warm. Enter the Bedsure heated cat bed. I ordered the 28x20 size to cover a small dog sized bed i got as the male tuxedo is a 21lb beast and wanted something he could comfortably lay in without hanging over the sides. This mat fit his bed perfectly. At first he was curious and hesitated, so I set the initial heating level at 3 and it heated up pretty quickly. Once he felt the warmth, he sprawled out and wouldn't even let me go near to pick him up. HE LOVED IT. The mat itself is good quality as you can remove the cover to wash or clean and itself feels soft. There's 6 heating levels that aren't too hot for a cat, so you don't have to worry about possible burns as level 6 is pretty warm. The timer can be set from 0 to 24 hours for constant warmth. All in all, I recommend this mat as it's comfortable, warms very fast and has numerous hours for the timer. Place it anywhere you want your kitty to have a place to relax for comfort!
